Mars, but make it a snow globe
Crazy how fast a year goes — this time last year I was in Moab, Utah with my travel buddy @laurinverted to explore one of my favorite places in this country. (Correction: I went to explore, Lauren went to do handstands 🤸🏼♀️😆) If you haven’t been to @archesnps , I highly suggest you make a trip out there, and if you’re lucky enough to be there during the rare occurrence of snow in Utah… damn, it’s a beautiful thing.
On our last day, Lauren and I decided to tackle the longest and most difficult trail in the park- Devil’s Garden. On a normal day without snow, this 7.5 mile hike takes over 4 hours to complete. We got about 3.5 miles in and realized we couldn’t decipher the trail anymore so we sadly had to turn around. Maybe next time, @laurinverted ?? 😉
P.S.- thank god shoe snow spikes are a thing because we definitely wouldn’t have survived our hikes without them. Especially the section of trail that was about a 10ft wide snow covered sandstone fin with drop offs on both sides (see photo) 😳
I definitely meant to share more photos from this trip last year, but... life. Snow globe Utah, you will always be magic to me! 😍
