EARLY STAGE #ACL REHAB . Here’s a snapshot of my session with @skindeepbyteresa tonight. We just started working together last week and she’s killin the game already . Being roughly 4️⃣ weeks post op, her range of motion and quad activation are light years ahead of what I’d expect. BUT, that doesn’t mean we still don’t respect tissue healing. So we load, but we do so appropriately and make sure that we’re listening to the knee and being mindful of how it responds . 1️⃣ BFR Squats: I used the camera to give her cues on how much she’s loading through each side. I had the screen flipped around facing her so he could see if she’s leaning in real time 2️⃣ Terminal Knee Extensions for quad strength 3️⃣ BFR + Electrical Stimulation straight leg raises: I love using both together in the early stages post op to double down on quad activation 4️⃣ Kettlebell RDLs to hammer the posterior chain 5️⃣ Calf Raises: goal is to lower herself down on one leg only, but she’s not fully there yet, so we keep the right foot in contact with the ground to give it that little bit of extra support . 🥇 Rehabbing from an ACL reconstruction? Week 2 back from vacay. Training and eating... getting back to the drawing board. Dinner for two 🙈 Oven baked salmon with potatoes, creamed spinach, egg and homemade vegetables 🥰 Haven't done this dish for several years but I felt it's time. I only used salt, pepper and dill with some chunks of butter inside. It felt like the fish got on the edge of overcooked but I had to go to the gym so 💪 exercise is good for you and this dish is very easy when you can leave the fish in the oven to cook by it's self for one hour. I’ve never had visible arm muscles guys. WHAT IS THIS?! Seriously. I call these my milk muscles. Why? I’m currently a barista. At a convention center. Meaning, I lift and put down gallons of milk probably 250-300 times a shift. I also use gallons of milk as weights a lot, because I don’t own any at home. So, milk muscles it is. Today has been good.
