It’s so hard staying relevant especially when social media is your main platform for posting your work. Quality over quantity plays a big factor as well. •
Do you force yourself to produce quantity that you are able to post more frequently or do you take the time to make something meaningful? •
But when you take time away to have a break or make something meaningful, your engagement on your socials go down and when it’s time to post, about 10% of your followers see your work, and then you begin to question if what you worked so hard on was all for nothing and it means nothing and no one appreciates what you post, and what you feel and think begin to seem invalid. •
These are things are I struggle with. Being able to stay relevant and keeping my work at the highest quality. I pride myself in doing my own thing and not doing trends, being unique, being my own artist, but it’s so hard being noticed in this ocean of data, your own work being filtered away.
