Big fan of these two historic warehouses at 10th & Leavenworth, just outside the Old Market. The building on the left was built for Avery Manufacturing in 1899, and the building in the right was built for W.M. Bushman in 1890. Both are contributing members in the Omaha Rail and Commerce Historic District. These buildings probably don’t get a ton of attention, but they contribute greatly to the comfortable scale and urban feel of downtown, and I’m really glad they have a new life as apartments.
